Professional ( THE MAGIC MAN )

I was born halfway down a staircase

 (I came into life as a stepchild !)
Didn't have a birth certificate,the midwife issued an invoice instead.
First interest in magic was when VICARDO (Dennis vickery) did a show at my local Church Hall. I said to Dennis after the show "I think I know how you did that trick with the 4 Ace's.He said " If you can work it out, you can join the Devon Magic Circle and learn some more magic"
My Dad and I worked out a solution to the trick which was totally impractical ( I'm still using that version!)

My early days in magic were spent learning to manipulate thimbles,billiard balls,cards,and to stop saying "right" every few minutes. Although nowadays I enjoy kids shows, perhaps I'm still a big one at heart,my main pleasure these days

is close up magic,with mentalism  thrown in and the occasional cabaret.Not sure who my favourite magician is,maybe Tommy Cooper.
My pleasures are magic and travel - with magic you can make new friends almost anywhere.

Lez Ellis

Professional (LEZ THE FEZ) 

I'm Lez the Fez and have been practising Magic for over 40 years.

I have been a member of The Magic Circle for over 11 years and was the President of my own Magic Club in North London for 17 years. I am also a member of the International Brotherhood  of Magicians, The Riviera Circle of Magicians and Equity.

I developed my skills as a magician whilst employed as a Scotland Yard Detective and when i retired in 2001 after 32 years police service, i decided to return to Devon and take up this hobby as a full time professional.

My performances include major hotels in London; cruise ships, including The QE2. and much more.

 I have my own style of Magic and will no doubt baffle, amuse and entertain you.

At only 19 years old I am one of the youngest members of the Riviera Circle of magicians.

I first became interested in magic after seeing a magician perform "The Colouring Book" at a party when I was six. I have been hooked ever since!

My interests today are mentalism,  Hypnosis and of course close-up magic.

My favorite magic book to date is

The 13 steps to mentalism (Corrinda.)

Favorite effect I use at the monment has to be Ring Flight.

Who is my favorite magician? I have too many to list, so many different reasons, but two that come to mind that I never tire of watching are, Jeff  Mc Bride and Derren Brown

Trev Stone

Professional ( ZAK STONE )

 I didn't get the magic bug untill my 30's,

but I soon made up for lost time!  I am lucky that my other careers hairdressing

(skill with the hands, and not shy of talking!) and drumming (exellent for timing and being able to do 2 or 3 things at once!) really helped me in developing the skills I have now. And of course not forgetting all the members of the Y.S.M,  N.M.C, and I.B.M, that have given me advice and help along the way.

My interests as a performer are Close-up and Parlour magic, but if it's performed well, I love watching any forms of our art.

I have always had a love for coin magic

since having the pleasure of meeting Neville George, an exellent coin worker from Middlesbrough.

My passion today is with the classic "The Cups and Balls" I must own at least 18 sets of cups!!!

If I was allowed to only have one book, then without doubt it would be "Strong Magic" by darwin Ortiz.

Favorite magician?  There's quite a few, but for putting a smile on my face it's got to be Bill Malone.
